Enter Bada (Sonu Sood), whom a minister approaches to murder a whistleblower. Bada hatches a plan to get rid of the whistleblower and in the process kills Anjaneyulu's father and mother. The rest of the movie deals with how Ravi Teja takes revenge.
From the surface level observation, it becomes evident that the movie tries to cash on the success of Ravi Teja's recent movies such as Krishna and Kick. The movie doesn't have a sound script and is just a mish-mash of comedy scenes. And this approach doesn't work in all the cases. In the case of this movie, the first half is okay but the second half becomes quite difficult to watch.
Ravi Teja's action is very similar to his previous movies, except that he has a journalist's tag. The dialogues in the movie are full of double-meaning and in some cases jump beyond what is socially acceptable. In all, there is nothing new and novel in the entire movie except for some comic bits here and there.
If there is anything that the movie can bank on, it is definitely Ravi Teja's trademark performance. Despite the lack of a proper script, Ravi Teja still keeps the story moving with his short witty dialogues and punch lines. On the other hand, Nayanatara looks very dull. There is no "stuff" in her role. She appears only 5 minutes before every song and then disappears. Brahmanandam's comedy is ok but loses its comic element.
On the minus side, the music is absolutely horrible. Not even a single song was catchy. In addition, the stuntwork is beyond bounds. One doesn't expect a journalist to execute Superman-level stunts.
In conclusion, the movie is watchable.
